Dubai Miracle Garden

Miracle Garden is a unique flower garden situated in the district of Dubailand, Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, creating yet another stunning landscape. First unveiled on Valentine's day in 2013, this natural man-made wonder that makes all the glorious and refreshing attractions bow down to it. The Miracle Garden, which has an area of more than 72,000 Sq.M. and with more than 50 million flowers and 250 million plants, is the largest natural flower garden in the world. Tasteful artistic played creatively with flower arrangements, resulted in scenery made of colorful flowersin different sections, each one more appealing than the other. The Miracle Garden, featuring one of a kind 2D and 3D floral designs, is usually open every year from October to April and is closed from May to December, which is not a proper time to visit this flower land anyway due to hot weather, approximately 40 ° C (104 ° F).

Development Process

In the beginning, Miracle Garden was actually an agreement between Dubailand and the Dubai properties group. Then, later on, the project was developed under an agreement between the Agriculture company and Akar landscaping, estimated to cost approximately 11 million US $. The first phase of this spectacular project was inaugurated in February 2013 on an area of 21,000 sq ft. It was an open space with various landscaping designs that each had special charm and beauty. The construction process of Phase 1 took two months and 400 people were involved in its creation. Phase two of the project began in mid-June 2013 and ended in October. In phase 2, the garden area increased by 70%. Also, a multi-story parking lot with an area of 850 sq ft was added to this complex. In this way, the Miracle Garden expanded to 2 million square feet. In Phase 2 of the project, various sections were added to the already splendid masterwork, including the butterfly garden, a floral clock, retail stores, and mosques. Later, the Moselle Award for “new garden experience of the year” at the “Garden Tourism Award 2015” was given to this impressive garden. Attracting millions of visitors annually, Miracle Garden also expects to achieve a fourth Guinness World Record this year!

Famous Attractions of The Miracle Garden

Although they add new activities to the Miracle Garden every year, this popular landmark has many prominent, and fabulous attractions that every curious traveler wants to see up close. Here are the most favored parts of the garden:

Disney Avenue: Arguably the most famous part of the Miracle Garden, where celebrated Disney cartoon characters are builtin giant-sized topiary with professional and eye-catching flower arrangements. The most intriguing of them is the giant floral sculpture of Mickey Mouse, licensed directly by the Walt Disney company. Imagine an 18-foot-tall Mickey Mouse topiary standing in front of you, registered as the world's largest topiary structure at Guinness World Recordsin 2018. More than 100,000 flowers and plants have been used to create this 35-ton beloved Cartoon personality.

Life-Size Emirates A380: The Emirates Airbus A380 is the largest passenger aircraft in the world and many tourists come to see this giant floral work of art every year. This majestic life-sized model of aircraft is in the spotlight for many visitors of Dubai's Miracle Garden and nearly 500,000 flowers of various species like gaillardia, viola, marigold, coleus, germanium, and snapdragon used to make and decorate it.

Lost Paradise: Visiting the Lost Paradise is like a trip to the dreamy land of a fairy tale. A place 20 feet below the ground where various and glamorous designs of flower arrangements can be seen in stepped gardening, houses, bungalows, and a beautiful stairway that leads you to this paradise. To get to the base, you will cross the flowery corridor.

Butterfly Passage: Arches with the design and shape of flower-covered butterflies guide you along a narrow walkway in an exceptional way. Each butterfly-shaped overhanging displays flowers of different colors, a special layout that gives each butterfly a different color. The place is also great for taking selfies.

Hearts Passage: As the name implies, another themed passageway, with overhangs designed in the shape of big delightful hearts. As one of the main attractions of the Miracle Garden, many lovers choose here. A path that is pleasant and fragrant to cross. A tempting pathway, decorated with different colorful flowers that are perfect for couples to walk and take pictures.

Umbrella Passage: An excellent, somewhat funky route that casts a shade over visitors during the warmer months of the year. Cabanas: Designers have considered that walking can be tedious at times, which is why many cabanas have been built in the Miracle Garden. A comfortable, and inviting seating area with soft cushions and a pleasant appearance make a short break very relaxing.

Trampoline Park: There are currently 12 customized trampolines in this park, with a safe and supervised environment for lively kids.

Zumba Classes: Although full details have not yet been released, Zumba classes will soon be held at Dubai Miracle Garden for both children and adults.
